A Peculiar Mist

I decided to enter the MAMA Scared Stiff contest. [link]
I had decided to just go free-handed with this, no base or anything, not even a google background. This is all me.
This is an actual monster from my childhood. I had thought that mists were scary, because most horror films I watched had mist, and because blood is red, I had nightmares of a Blood-Red Mist.
This is showing the Monster coming out of my Closet, and reaching around the ceiling.
I don't expect to win or anything, I just thought this might be fun ^^
